combination of marketing, community and administrative features that
greatly assist in fulfilling sports and social clubs objectives.
An example of this would be Leeuwkop Golf Club, based in
Johannesburg, South Africa, where potential members visit the open
section of the website to obtain a better understanding of the club,
the facilities, regulations and the costs and benefits associated
with being or becoming a member.
Members on the other hand have the additional ability to log into the
secured section of the website with a unique user name and password.
In this area members can communicate directly with the Executive
Committee, management or other members on club matters, participate
in regular polls / surveys on club issues and maintain/ review their
personal records as club members.
The Club Management or Exco is also able to send bulk e-mail and SMS
communications to members with regards to club activities, issues
and developments.
