What exactly is ADSL?
ADSL (Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line) is a broadband (very fast) modem technology that turns an ordinary telephone line into a combination of voice telephone and dedicated Internet access. This allows you to still make telephone calls as normal and connect to the Internet on the same line.
What does uncapped ADSL 1mbs mean?
It simply means you have unlimited usage for your internet account every month at a fixed price, with a line speed of 1 megabyte per second.
What type of telephone line do I need?
An ADSL phone line (which can only be obtained from Telkom) this line will support both normal telephone calls and also have the added functionality of ADSL internet access.
I’m using 3G to connect at my practice and want to convert to ADSL where do I start and who do I contact?
Is the line rental included in the prices mentioned?
- Call Telkom to do an installation of an ADSL line at your practice or home.
- If you already have a telephone line they will just need to convert it to an ADSL Line.
- Included with your installation from Telkom is Netgear router (standard router).
- E2 then issues a username and password to configure on your router and you connected!
No, this is just for your bandwidth.Are there any paperwork - contracts involved?

It is entirely up to you, you have the option of running your new account concurrently with your old service providers and cancel at a later stage when you satisfied but this will run costs on both accounts.How many places can I use or connect this home uncapped 1mbps at?
